Job summary

Bilfinger UK Limited is seeking a Construction Manager responsible for leadership, management and performance of all site installation and construction activities across the nZero business. You will lead Site Supervisors, ensure safe, efficient site works and maintain governance to meet project requirements.

Working with Project Managers and Manufacturing, you will mobilise, plan resources, monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction, installation or site delivery activities within an engineering, utilities, energy or industrial environment.
• Experience managing supervisors, site personnel and subcontractors.
• Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills.
• Demonstrable experience delivering complex installation projects safely and successfully.
• Experience with health, safety and quality performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Site Supervisors and wider site delivery function; drive safe, efficient site operations.
• Ensure projects are prepared prior to mobilisation with required permits, risk assessments and construction plans.
• Oversee site installation and commissioning activities and monitor progress against schedules.
• Escalate and resolve site issues with Programme Manager and project team; coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams.
• Coordinate labour and subcontractor deployment; ensure resource availability and planning alignment with schedules.
• Promote a culture of health, safety, quality and continuous improvement on site.
• Collaborate with Site Operations, Project Managers, Manufacturing Manager and Engineering teams for planning and governance.
• Capture and share lessons learned across projects to improve future performance.
