Job summary

NEOS Engineering are seeking an experienced Site / Project Engineer to join a major Devon construction project. The role is site-based, hands-on and focused on delivering final stages, inspections and documentation.

You will work with the Site Manager and contractors, manage ITPs, snagging, QA/QC and ensure quality standards are met as the project moves toward handover and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Previous site-based engineering or construction experience.
• Experience with ITPs, inspections, QA/QC or quality documentation.
• Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and completion of works across site.
• Manage and complete Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Carry out site inspections and record completed works.
• Identify, track and close out snagging and outstanding works.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and contractors to keep completion activities moving.
• Ensure works are completed to the required quality and project standards.
• Maintain accurate project and quality documentation.
• Using tablets/iPads to record inspections, take photographs and update site records.
• Support the handover and completion of the project.
• Work with the Clerk of Works and wider engineering team.
• Chasing outstanding information and documentation from contractors and site teams.
• Support the project through its final stages and into commissioning.
