Job summary

Kanadevia Inova in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Completion & Commissioning Engineer with a focus on Boiler/BOP for a major thermal/EfW plant project. You will bridge construction and commissioning, drive handover documentation, resolve snags, and oversee final inspections on site.

The role requires BOP/Boiler commissioning experience, a construction background on large industrial plants, and strong knowledge of P&ID, isometrics, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' professional experience, ideally as a commissioning lead engineer with construction background on large-scale industrial plants.
• BOP/Boiler commissioning experience on KVI or Energy from Waste plants, and process/operating knowledge of thermal plants (EfW, Biomass, Coal).
• Strong understanding of P&ID, isometrics, construction drawings, and industrial process systems.

Responsibilities

• Participating in construction final inspections (FIS) with the construction team.
• Coordinating potential design modification with the Project Engineering Manager.
• Preparing and reporting progress on Turnover Packages (TOP).
• Coordinating piping support inspections and ATEX inspections with engineering, suppliers, and third-party certifiers.
• Ensuring accurate as-built P&IDs are provided, collected, and transferred back to the Project Engineering Manager.
• Actively promoting compliance with project HSEQ requirements across the team.

This is a site-based role, reporting to the Site Construction Manager.
