Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead construction activities at Hinkley Point C, one of Europe’s largest energy projects. This position involves overseeing reinforced concrete structures and ensuring compliance with nuclear standards while liaising with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, including direct work on large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of nuclear safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in site-based civil engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with stainless steel liner systems and welding coordination.
• Solid understanding of nuclear construction environments and safety regulations.
