Job summary

Langan is seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in London. This role will provide assistance with the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects, offering hands-on experience in site/civil engineering design for a range of developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1 to 6 years' experience in site/civil design.
• Internship or professional experience in site planning, grading, drainage, and soil erosion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, test and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and topographical data.
• Recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency and services performed.
• Apply knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematics.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
