Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a chemistry graduate to join our site team. You will perform duties on site, ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance, and coordinate with operations, customer services, laboratory, and other departments.

The role focuses on evaluating waste streams, allocating disposal routes, and liaising with drivers. A degree in Chemistry and knowledge of HS&E regulations are required; an FLT licence or IOSH Managing Safety are

Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry or closely related subject.
Knowledge of H&S and Environmental legislation as related to the Company's activities.
Chemical problem-solving skills.
Good communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure activities on site follow safety policies and procedures.
Report incidents and injuries per procedures.
Maintain high levels of housekeeping on site.
Reception of bulk tankers & non-bulk wastes; complete documentation.
Check, sample and route non-bulk wastes.
Allocate storage per site policy; update stock controls.
Amend and/or prepare process programmes for High Temperature Incinerator.
Prepare and process priority & problematic hazardous wastes.
Liaise with Operations, Management, Laboratory Staff, Technical Acceptance Dept, Customer Services and drivers.
