Tradebe is seeking an Offloading Supervising Chemist to oversee tanker offloading at the GWMC Treatment Plant in the UK, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations. You will lead a small ops team and work under the Shift Manager to optimise performance and customer service.

The role requires an HNC or higher in Chemistry, reliability, and strong verbal/written communication. Competitive salary with benefits is provided and pension participation is available.

Formación

• HNC or higher level qualification in Chemistry (or closely aligned subject).
• Reliability essential for shift supervision in a hazardous environment.
• Good communication skills and basic IT/computer literacy.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise tankers offloading as directed by Shift Manager.
• Coordinate offloading processes and containerised waste handling.
• Direct plant traffic, supervise drivers, and cover weighbridge duties.
• Maintain high health and safety standards in all tasks.
• Ensure records comply with statutory and company procedures.
• Support Shift Manager and plant operatives in daily tasks.
• Assist with analysis and validation laboratory work as needed.
• Identify maintenance needs and support productivity improvements.
