Job summary

Tata Steel in Port Talbot is seeking a CDM Facilitator (Electrical) to enforce safety compliance and provide SME on CDM and electrical regulations. The role is 100% site-based at Port Talbot, SA13 2NG, and involves coordinating safety systems across construction activities.

The ideal candidate will hold NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate and an Electrical Engineering qualification, with strong IT skills (Windows, SAP, Lotus Notes) and prior experience in heavy industry or major construction

Qualifications

NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate required.
Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ3 or higher) preferred.
Proficient IT literacy, especially with Windows Office, SAP & Lotus Notes database.

Responsibilities

Supporting and advising project teams in co-ordination, implementation and development of safety systems and procedures.
Ensuring adequate control measures for contractors on-site for the Project & Design department.
Ensuring compliance with CDM and H&S legislation is maintained.
Deploying the Tata Health and Safety Management System and contributing to the Safety Annual Plan.
Identifying improvements in health, safety, and environmental standards on the site.
