Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Caretaker to help keep its facilities clean, tidy and welcoming for staff and visitors. This hands-on role covers cleaning, housekeeping and day-to-day site support.

You will be responsible for preparing rooms for meetings, managing waste, restocking supplies, and reporting issues to the Facilities team. A clean driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, caretaking, housekeeping or a similar role (desirable)
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organised spaces
• A reliable approach, with the ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
• A friendly, helpful attitude and willingness to support colleagues
• Awareness of safe cleaning practices and the correct use of products and equipment
• A clean driving licence

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, toilets and communal areas to a high standard.
• Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling, ensuring correct disposal.
• Replenishing washroom and kitchen supplies and monitoring cleaning stock levels.
• Keeping entrances, walkways and external areas tidy and free from litter.
• Preparing rooms for meetings and company events, including arranging furniture.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage and safety hazards to the Facilities team.
• Moving deliveries and supplies around the site and driving company vehicles between sites when required.
