Job summary

St Margaret’s School is seeking a reliable Site Caretaker to join the Estates Team to ensure the smooth running of our facilities. You will help keep the school open for longer periods at the weekend and oversee site security in the evenings.

The successful candidate will have good organisation, time management and communication skills. Previous caretaking or site management experience is desirable. Weekday morning hours may be discussed during interviews.

We are seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Site Caretaker to work within our Estates Team to be responsible for the smooth and compliant running of our school’s facilities. Your presence will allow for the school to be open for longer periods at the weekend and give us more opportunity for Lets. A key part of this role will be site security, ensuring all buildings are secured for the evening.

You will have good organisational and time management skills, along with good communication skills. Previous caretaking or site management experience is desirable.

We may also have a requirement for weekday hours, particularly early mornings; we would discuss with shortlisted candidates at interview.
