Job summary

AG Barr in Cumbernauld is seeking a Site Capacity Planning Manager to lead the RCCP process, ensuring production aligns with resources and constraints. The role requires managing a team, coordinating with materials planning and site operations, and guiding short-term schedules to drive OTIF and efficiency.

The position is hybrid and permanent, with travel 2–4 times a month. A strong background in MRP/DRP/ERP, Excel, and cross-functional collaboration is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Established manager-level experience in a manufacturing supply chain planning role.
• Hands-on experience with MRP, DRP and ERP systems.
• Advanced spreadsheet proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong knowledge of inventory strategies, stock deployment and core supply chain principles.
• Experience with S&OP cycles and managing supply elements.
• Experience working cross-functionally and with external stakeholders.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to travel 2–4 times per month.
• Previous people management experience is a plus.

• Lead and develop a high-performing team with regular 1:1s focused on performance and growth.
• Partner with materials planning and site operations to ensure availability of key packaging materials.
• Oversee short-term (2-week) production schedules and guide execution of operational plans.
• Manage product lifecycle planning across NPD/EPD initiatives and site optimisation projects.
• Deliver site Supply Planning KPIs and maximise OTIF and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the 13-week rough-cut capacity plan (RCCP) to align production requirements with resource, equipment, and operational constraints.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team, conducting regular 1:1s focused on performance objectives and career growth.
• Partner with materials planning and site operations to ensure full availability of key packaging materials (cans, preforms, glass, and raw ingredients).
• Oversee short‑term (fixed 2‑week) production schedules, guiding the team to execute operational plans efficiently.
• Manage product lifecycle planning across NPD/EPD initiatives while contributing to broader site optimisation projects.
• Deliver site Supply Planning KPIs, collaborating with central deployment and cross‑functional teams to maximise OTIF performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications / What You'll Bring

• Established manager‑level experience in a similar supply chain planning role within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with MRP, DRP, and ERP systems.
• Advanced spreadsheet proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong knowledge of inventory strategies, stock deployment techniques, and core supply chain principles.
• Experience working with S&OP cycles, including managing the supply element of the S&OP process.
• Experience working cross‑functionally and with external stakeholders.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to travel 2‑4 times per month.
• Previous people management experience in small or larger teams is a plus.
