Job summary

Dornanwe is seeking a BIM Manager to be based on-site in London, leading BIM Coordinators and Revit Technicians on allocated projects. You will coordinate with Dornan Engineers, design teams and 3rd-party contractors to deliver BIM strategies.

Responsibilities include planning programmes, chairing coordination meetings, and implementing BEP and BIP, while supporting the UK BIM Manager to develop company BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Project BIM Manager role.
• Understanding of RIBA Stage 5 and 6 for MEP.
• Effective planning and programming skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent IT skills: Revit, Navisworks, Excel, Fabrication MEP.
• Good commercial awareness and knowledge of HSE systems.
• Awareness of team strengths and development needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project BIM Coordinators and manage workload of Revit Technicians.
• Coordinate with engineers, design teams and 3rd-party contractors.
• Plan project programmes and BIM delivery strategies with the BIM Manager.
• Chair weekly coordination meetings and workshops with minutes and actions.
• Implement and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and BIM Implementation Plan (BIP).
• Support in developing company BIM standards.
