Job summary

Aureos seeks a Senior Project Manager to deliver a key highways scheme at Howden, near Goole, East Riding. You will work from site and lead the project team to deliver on time and within budget while meeting environmental goals.

You will oversee planning, risk management, and client engagement, while ensuring health, safety and wellbeing. Strong collaboration with design, utilities and main works teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in highway construction, incl. 2+ years at Senior Project Manager level.
• Strong NEC3/NEC4 knowledge.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex construction phases.
• Experience engaging with senior public stakeholders.
• Chartered status from a relevant industry body is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams from start to completion.
• Drive performance across HSEW, quality, programme, and client satisfaction.
• Manage subcontractors and interfaces across design, utilities, enabling works and main works.
• Ensure effective planning, reporting, and risk management.
• Maintain relationships with clients, designers and stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration, innovation and safety culture.
• Support commercial teams in managing costs, change and contractual obligations.
