Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK Ltd is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the Havant Thicket Reservoir construction in Hampshire. This site-based role reports to the Contracts Manager and requires coordinating with a collaborative delivery team to meet safety, quality and programme targets.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree or HND, have NEC4/Design & Build experience, and strong leadership, communication and commercial skills to manage client relationships,

Qualificações

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
• Experience as Project Manager in civil engineering construction, preferably on large earthworks projects.
• Experience in Design & Build Contracts.
• Understanding and experience in NEC4 Contracts.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office, MS Project, CAD.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise the Works Managers, Site Agents, Quality Leads/Advisors and site Engineers on the project.
• Monitor and manage subcontractor performance with a safety-first approach.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Identify environmental protection needs and implement mitigating procedures.
• Ensure company procedures on quality, health & safety and environment are followed on site.
• Prepare quality, environmental and H&S construction plans in a timely manner.
• Liaise with joint ventures and clients to maintain relationships.
• Plan, measure, monitor and review contract progress against budgets and programme.
• Ensure adequate plant, labour and subcontract resources are available to meet timescales.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure correct construction.
• Procure and pay suppliers and subcontractors per procedures; monitor performance.
• Prepare and submit weekly progress reports and CVRs.
• Identify potential issues early and implement solutions.
• Resolve contractual issues with clients and suppliers while maintaining good relationships.
• Submit interim/final accounts and release retentions with completion certificates.
• Mentor and develop the construction team.
