Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. seeks an experienced Occupational Hygiene Technician for a site-based role at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. You will work within the Health, Safety and Environment team to promote health standards, assess hazards and support continuous improvement across site operations.

The role requires extensive hygiene knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead inspections, audits and training on a major construction project.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an Occupational Hygienist/Technician in industrial or construction settings.
• Knowledge of exposure controls, LEV, RPE and monitoring practices.
• Experience with audits, inspections and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hygiene legislation and best practice to ensure compliance.
• Provide PPE and RPE guidance and safe systems of work.
• Support site hygiene strategy and health training activities.
• Undertake inspections, risk assessments and indicate corrective actions.
• Produce hygiene reports and KPI updates for stakeholders.
• Deliver hygiene-related training and incident follow-up.
