Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a facilities management team at a large distribution centre in Gateshead.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems, ensure safety and compliance, and work with a dedicated engineering team to keep services running. The role is permanent and site-based with a Monday–Friday schedule, offering a salary of £43,000 per year and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, industrial or FM environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (air conditioning, ventilation, mechanical plant).
• Experience delivering both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Able to fault find, diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Good understanding of building services and maintenance environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs across heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
• Service, inspect and maintain HVAC plant and connected systems.
