Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a skilled Static HVAC Engineer to oversee site operations in Kettering. The role focuses on fault-finding and ensuring statutory compliance for a key facility, with early weekday finishes and a fully optional on-call rota.

Based in the UK, you will perform PPMs, reactive maintenance, and oversee CAFM/BMS systems to maintain optimal temperature and humidity. F-Gas certification and VRV/VRF experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong background in VRV/VRF fault-finding and plant maintenance.
• Valid F-Gas Certification (City & Guilds 2079 / Cat 1).
• NVQ Level 2/3 or recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems and BMS monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance (PPMs) and respond to breakdowns across HVAC systems and related plant.
• Diagnose VRV/VRF faults and monitor BMS controls to manage site temperature and humidity.
• Use mobile CAFM to manage work orders and ensure statutory compliance.
• Supervise contractors and assist with minor electrical and building fabric tasks.

Static HVAC Engineer

Location: Kettering

Salary: £42,000 per annum + Overtime

Hours: Monday - Friday Early Shift (07:00-15:00 or 07:30-15:30) 40 hrs/week

On-Call: Fully Optional Rota (£190/week standby allowance)

We are seeking a skilled Static HVAC Engineer to oversee site HVAC operations, conduct fault-finding, and ensure statutory compliance for a key facility in Kettering. Enjoy a great work-life balance with early weekday finishes and a completely optional on-call rota.
