Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an HSQE Advisor to support the Head of HSQE and Contract Managers at Solihull on a site-based, fixed-term contract up to 12 months. The role is 37 hours per week with a competitive reward package including a 7.5% pension, life assurance, and service days.

The successful candidate will develop and implement HSQE best practice, ensure compliance with current HSQE legislation and customer policies, and lead audits, training, and investigations.

Qualifications

• HSQE background with ability to work with minimum supervision.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate or above.
• Knowledge of country HSE legislation and safety processes.
• Experience in supervisory roles.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 45001 OH&S management systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and safety to internal and external customers.
• Develop HSQE measures to exceed customer expectations.
• Drive safety and training KPIs.
• Set up and monitor audit schedules and reports.
• Provide in-house safety training (toolbox talks, manual handling, risk assessment).
• Support investigations and resolve non-compliance.
• Perform frequent internal audits and create action plans.
• Ensure timely HSQE updates using data tracking systems.
