Job summary

DHL, a global leader in logistics, is seeking an HR Advisor for our Liverpool (L11 0JA) site. You will support HRBP and site leadership to deliver the HR plan and develop people management capabilities, while providing guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation and recruitment to drive a proactive HR service.

The role requires experience in HR, trade unions and case management, plus strong organisational and communication skills within a logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Previous HR experience (Essential)
• Trade union experience (Essential)
• Case management experience (Essential)
• Strong organisational skills (Essential)
• Experience within a logistics business (Desirable)
• A CIPD level 3 qualification or equivalent (Desirable)
• Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholder groups
• Looking to develop in a fast-paced site-based environment

Responsibilities

• Support HRBP/site leadership to deliver the HR plan and develop people management capabilities.
• Provide HR guidance on employee relations, policy/procedure and recruitment at sites.
• Advise and coach managers on policy interpretation and employment law to ensure consistency and best practice.
• Assist with workforce planning, organisation design, forecasting resourcing needs and talent planning.
• Manage employee cases relating to disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence; support Occupational Health and investigations.
• Collaborate with managers on sickness absence reduction and redeployment where appropriate.
• Provide accurate and timely data to HRBP and managers for HR processes.
