Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Working Electrical Supervisor to join the Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme in Thames Valley. You will supervise and support electricians on Thames Water sites, delivering electrical installation services and contributing to MEICA delivery across capital frameworks.

You will mentor apprentices, produce RAMS, and ensure safe isolation practices, with opportunities to influence commissioning docs and liaise with supply chains for fault finding.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and JIB Gold Card or ECS card.
• Proven Water Industry experience.
• C&G 2330/2360, NVQ Level 3 Electrical, and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test.
• IEE 18th edition, SMSTS, and Confined Spaces qualifications.
• Knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes and typical M&E plant and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installing LV electrical systems for temporary and permanent works, including containment, power and control cables, and testing installations.
• Supervising electricians and mentoring apprentices, ensuring work meets standards.
• Issuing electrical safety documents including Permit to Work and Isolation Certificates.
• Producing RAMS and project ITPs and carrying out electrical audits per Kier ESRs.
• Supporting commissioning documentation and fault finding with the supply chain.
