Job summary

CWA seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead the Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure on the Sizewell C Avonmouth HUB mobilisation and production phase. You will manage plant, drive safety, asset management, and contractor performance across construction and operations, reporting to the Plant Leader.

Based on site, you will coordinate onboarding, commissioning, and ongoing plant stewardship. The role requires extensive leadership of multidisciplinary teams, budget acumen, and a strong track

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• SMSTS certification and CSCS Black Card preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mobilisation of machines on site and ensure safety, inspection and commissioning.
• Lead electrical, mechanical and plant-related safety systems and compliance.
• Coordinate asset maintenance, records and reporting for the Avonmouth HUB.
• Develop plant procedures and roll out the plant system of work across owned and hired assets.
• Monitor plant utilisation and performance, and identify efficiency improvements.
