Job summary

Aqumen Business Solutions seeks a hands-on Control Systems Engineer for site-based commissioning across the UK and overseas. You will programme PLCs and HMIs, configure control panels and automation systems, and fault-find on-site to support customers.

You must travel extensively, work independently, and communicate effectively with clients while delivering reliable commissioning services.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming, HMIs and control panels critical.
• Willingness to travel UK and overseas to customer sites.
• Site-based, customer-facing commissioning role with problem-solving on site.

Responsibilities

• Programme and configure PLCs and HMIs.
• Commission control panels and automation systems.
• Test and fault-find electrical/control systems.
• Provide on-site technical support to customers.
• Travel extensively to UK and international sites.
• Produce commissioning reports and documentation.
