Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment is recruiting a site-based Air Conditioning Engineer for a large distribution facility in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. The role centers on maintaining air conditioning and HVAC systems with emphasis on both planned and reactive maintenance.

You will work within a Facilities Management environment, handling AC/HVAC tasks and collaborating with the site team. The position offers stability, training, and clear progression within a global FM provider.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Category 1 certification required.
• Recognised Air Conditioning / Refrigeration qualification.
• Commercial AC maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining split and multi-split systems.
• Experience with VRV / VRF systems.
• Strong AC fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
• Experience within Facilities Management or commercial building maintenance.
• Willingness to undertake general fabric and building maintenance.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems.
• Reactive AC maintenance and fault resolution.
• Air conditioning fault finding and diagnostics.
• Servicing and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Update CAFM systems and complete job sheets.
• Liaise with site teams and customers.
