Job summary

Urban Connect is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a major sewage reservoir scheme in Moffat, Scotland, starting in September 2026. You will manage day-to-day operations on site and ensure work is delivered safely, on programme and to specification.

The role requires a strong civil engineering background, excellent IT skills, and a proven ability to maintain accurate site records and paperwork to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Agent on civil engineering or water infrastructure projects.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital site management systems.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high standard of paperwork and reporting.
• CSCS Card holder.
• SMSTS certification.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
• Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, permits, quality documentation, and health & safety paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures and client requirements.
• Liaise effectively with the project team, client representatives, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and assist in delivering the project on time and within budget.

Start Date: September 2026

Rate: £350-£400 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major sewage reservoir construction project in Moffat, Scotland, starting in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Agent with a strong civil engineering background, excellent IT skills, and a proven ability to manage site documentation and project paperwork to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.

Requirements
