Job summary

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering structural or specialist concrete repair projects.
• Experience on infrastructure schemes involving concrete structures.
• Strong technical knowledge of structural repairs and construction methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and workstreams simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of cost, programme and site performance management.
• A proactive, confident leadership style with excellent communication skills.
• A strong commitment to Zero Harm and high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Managing Balvac schemes of varying size and complexity from site through to completion.
• Leading and coordinating site teams and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with contract drawings, specifications and Project Management Plans.
• Producing and reviewing method statements, risk assessments and construction documentation.
• Managing dimensional control, setting-out and technical delivery on site.
• Developing and working to programmes, monitoring progress and productivity.
• Driving high standards of Health, Safety & Environmental performance, including behavioural safety.
• Managing construction records, as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Proactively identifying and resolving engineering and delivery challenges.
• Supporting Balvac’s focus on Customer Excellence, Innovation and Quality Delivery.
