Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a Site Agent to manage infrastructure projects within the Welsh Water framework, delivering on time and to budget while upholding safety and quality.

The role requires civil engineering expertise, strong leadership, and experience with major clients; you will coordinate site teams, report progress, and ensure compliant practices across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Essential: Civil Engineering/Construction management degree or NVQ Level 6+ in a relevant subject matter.
• Desirable: Chartered status or approaching.
• Evidence of relevant post-graduation practical training e.g., Form of Contracts, Formwork/Falsework, Concrete Technology, H&S Management etc.
• Proven experience on challenging and diverse projects with major clients (e.g., LUL, HA, Water Companies, Petro/Chem).
• Progression to Site Agent with both theoretical and practical experience.

My client is a Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor.

They are presently delivering vital improvement works on the Welsh Water Framework and are seeking reinforcements to deliver the works.

The framework which is set to run for at least the next 5+ years will focus on both clean and waste water projects and could involve work to new or existing treatment plants, pumping stations and much more.

The Opportunity

You will be managing projects within the Infrastructure Business Unit in the Water streams from contract award through to completion - achieving acceptable financial outcomes whilst adhering to the quality, safety and environmental policies. You will report to either a Contracts Manager or Project Manager depending on the value and complexity of project and personal experience/ability.

• Proven experience from engineering background demonstrating progress to Site Agent through career development with both theoretical and practical experience.
• Site qualifications: CSCS card, SMSTS (5 day), First Aid at Work (4 day), National Water Hygiene card
