Job Description:

The Role: The main purpose of the Site Agent is to manage the construction site to achieve project delivery aligned with customer objectives while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control. You will oversee various projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and maximize commercial performance. Collaboration with Contracts Managers, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors is essential to ensure safe project completion and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee successful delivery of projects in Civils and Water sectors, ensure work is defect-free, lead teams, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Client Interface: Represent the company, deliver customer satisfaction, and maintain professional relationships.
  • Cost Control: Manage project budgets, maximize value, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate reports, chair site meetings, and ensure timely communication.

Person Specification:

  • Extensive experience in Civil Engineering and site management, especially in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, and project management tools.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Civil Engineering degree/HNC, CSCS, IOSH/SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator, Confined Space training.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable: Additional qualifications like CEng MICE, Primavera P6 knowledge, familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (45 hrs/week)

Required Tickets/Certifications: Thames Water Passport, CSCS, SMSTS, NRSWA
