Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting for a Site Agent to work in Liverpool on a high profile rail project. The role requires experience in multi-discipline rail projects and station upgrades, with a focus on day-to-day site management and coordination.

You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with programme requirements, while liaising with stakeholders and supporting commercial activities. A competitive rate is on offer.

Qualifications

  • Experience as Site Agent or similar on multi-discipline projects.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid qualifications with CSCS Gold Card.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain project records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors
  • Oversee project documentation and site records, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements
  • Manage permits, site paperwork, inspection records, and quality documentation
  • Monitor supply chain performance and coordinate subcontractor activities
  • Support programme delivery, identifying and escalating risks and delays where required
  • Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with approved methodologies
  • Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager
  • Liaise with client representatives, stakeholders, subcontractors, and the wider project team
  • Support commercial and procurement activities as required

Are you an experienced Site Agent with rail expereince looking for your next contract with an established Tier 1 Contractor?

Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a Site Agents to work in Liverpool on a high profile rail project.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working on multi-discipline rail projects and station upgrades.

Role Brief:

Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, administration, documentation, and supply chain partners to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors
  • Oversee project documentation and site records, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements
  • Manage permits, site paperwork, inspection records, and quality documentation
  • Monitor supply chain performance and coordinate subcontractor activities
  • Support programme delivery, identifying and escalating risks and delays where required

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a Site Agent, Site Manager, Sub-Agent, or similar construction delivery role. Rail experience is welcome but is not essential for the right candidate.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid qualifications with CSCS gold card
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work activities
  • Ability to maintain accurate project records and documentation
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK driving licence
