Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is working with an established geotechnical and piling contractor to appoint a Site Agent. The role covers overseeing piling and geotechnical works on projects nationwide, with Leeds as a preferred location and remote working option.

The ideal candidate will have a strong piling background, proven site management experience, and hold SMSTS and CSCS qualifications. Travel nationwide and staying away will be involved as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Agent / Site Manager
• Essential: Strong piling experience
• Experience within geotechnical and/or civil engineering
• SMSTS and relevant CSCS qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away
• Strong understanding of site management, health & safety and project delivery

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across piling and geotechnical projects
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant and materials
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
• Monitor quality, progress and project performance
• Liaise with clients, engineers and project management teams
• Complete RAMS, permits, site records and progress reports
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements

An established specialist geotechnical and piling contractor is looking for an experienced Site Agent to join their growing team. The role will involve overseeing piling, geotechnical and associated civil engineering works across projects nationwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent with a strong piling background who is comfortable working on projects across the UK.
