Job description

The Role:

We are working with a top tier contractor who are looking for experienced Site Agents to join a £100m+ highways project in Suffolk. You will take full responsibility for managing your section of works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. As the Site Agent, you will oversee Structures, Earthworks, and Roadworks. A background in these areas is ideal, but we welcome applications from those with general highways or civil engineering experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a section of works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
2. Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
3. Oversee health & safety compliance, ensuring RAMS and Permit to Work systems are in place.
4. Plan, track, and report project progress to the Project Manager.
5. Identify and implement temporary works and value engineering solutions.
6. Ensure quality control and environmental standards are met.
7. Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. SMSTS & CSCS card.
2. HNC or higher in Civil Engineering.
3. Experience in infrastructure, highways, or civil engineering projects.
4. Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and NEC contracts.
