Job summary

Project Partners is recruiting a Site Agent for permanent, onsite work around the Lea Bridge Road, London area. In this role you will oversee water mains renewal schemes, ensure on-site safety, manage resources, and coordinate with clients and authorities to keep projects on schedule.

The candidate will require a full driving license, Water Hygiene EUSR, NRSWA Unit 10 (or equivalent), and strong leadership to drive site teams and subcontractors. A proactive, safety-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing infrastructure projects, ideally in water mains or utilities, with a strong understanding of site operations, health & safety, and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to manage the timely delivery of materials and equipment to field teams, avoiding delays and ensuring smooth project progression
  • Experience leading site teams and subcontractors, while liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to maintain project momentum.
  • Full driving license.
  • Water Hygiene EUSR Card
  • NRSWA - Unit 10 (or equivalent), backfilling and reinstating.
  • Cable Avoidance/Safe Digging
  • First Aid
  • Able to utilise basic IT programmes (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Temporary Works Supervisor (desirable)

  • NPORS Traffic Marshall or Banksmen (desirable)

Responsibilities

Site Agent

Location: Lea Bridge Road, Hackney London Area

Type: Permanent, Full-time, Onsite

Salary: £56,000k

Project Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent in the Lea Bridge Road, London area who is looking for a new permanent position working within the Civil Engineering and Water Utilities industry.

The purpose of this role is to ensure successful delivery on site of a range of mains renewals schemes. The role covers the schemes in the London region. The ideal candidate will have experience managing infrastructure projects, ideally in water mains or utilities, with a strong understanding of site operations, health & safety, and quality standards.

Role Responsibilities
Project Coordination

Oversee daily site operations to ensure timely delivery of water main replacement works, coordinating closely with site teams and subcontractors.

Material & Equipment Management

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to site teams, preventing delays and maintaining workflow efficiency.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

Uphold and enforce all HSE standards on-site, conducting regular inspections and promoting a culture of safety.

Stakeholder Communication

Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.

Team Leadership

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Candidate Experience Required
