The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, part of Circle Health Group, is hiring for a Sister - Charge Nurse. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £44,000 per year depending on experience, training, and qualifications.

The role requires a Registered Nurse (Adult) with NMC registration and significant post-registration experience in acute care, with demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong clinical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty.
• Experience in leading and supervising a clinical team.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and coordination skills.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and professional development.
• Must have application of specialised Emergency knowledge in practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.
• Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care.
• Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NMC and organisational standards.
• Act as a key liaison for patients, families, consultants, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with the coordination of admissions, discharges, and patient flow within the department.

The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle Is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Sister - Charge Nurse to join their team of staff in the Nursing department.

This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Provide hands-on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.
