Job description

Job Title: Sister / Charge Nurse

Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications and Experience

You are registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC) and have relevant qualifications and experience, including post-registration experience in patient care, pre and post-operatively, across various specialties such as Cardiac, Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynae, and Urology. You demonstrate excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Senior Sister/Ward Manager in the efficient running of the ward
2. Coordinate activities and be responsible for patient care and safety
3. Enhance the patient experience by ensuring seamless, personalized care
4. Collaborate effectively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
5. Apply your assessment, care planning, and delivery skills
6. Promote a supportive and safe working environment on the ward
