Job description

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and work closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station Systems Technician Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
  • Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates
Who You Are:

This is an entry-level role suited for someone hands-on, capable of multitasking, and eager to learn. The role is ideal if you have experience in a similar role or understand Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
