Job summary

Morris Sinclair Recruitment is seeking an experienced Pensions Compliance Technical Oversight Specialist to join its Risk & Compliance team in the UK. The role focuses on technical pensions expertise, regulatory oversight, and ensuring HMRC reporting and disclosures meet requirements.

You will work with operational, compliance and client teams to govern third-party providers, translate complex rules into practical guidance, and deliver improvements that protect customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical pensions SME, guiding operational and wider business teams.
• Provide oversight of pensions processes and services to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Develop and maintain processes, procedures and technical guidance.
• Advise on HMRC reporting, pension taxation, and PAG reporting.
• Oversee third-party pensions providers and governance with clients.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on products and customers.
• Support Consumer Duty adoption and clear customer communications.
• Deliver pensions training and develop knowledge across teams.
• Lead or contribute to change projects improving outcomes.
