Job summary

Leicester, with hybrid working available after qualifying period, is the base for the SIPP Accounts Executive role in a Chartered Pensions & Investment Company. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of SIPPs and assist the Financial Planner, providing quality administration and regulatory-compliant record-keeping.

Salary ranges from £28,500 to £35,000 per annum, with a discretionary bonus and a strong benefits package, including pension contributions and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the SIPP and associated products.
• Good technical knowledge of SIPPs and their use in financial planning.
• Knowledge of other financial services legislation relevant to role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, actuaries, accountants, Pension Trustees, HMRC and other professional connections.
• Knowledge of in-house money laundering procedures relevant to role and individual responsibilities in this area.
• Knowledge of Data Protection legislation relevant to role.
• Knowledge of IT systems and programmes relevant to role.
• Ability to work within level of authority and to refer work when appropriate.
• Ability to create and maintain accurate computer-based records.

Responsibilities

• Be the in-house contact for the client, providing a quality administration service for a portfolio of SIPPs.
• Maintain records that meet the firm and regulator requirements.
• Provide technical and administrative support to the Financial Planner.
