Job summary

IDEX Consulting in Edinburgh is seeking two experienced Pension Administrators to join an established SIPP administration team. You will manage a varied caseload, working closely with clients, Financial Advisers, investment providers and internal teams to deliver accurate and timely pension administration.

The role requires SIPP knowledge, strong numerical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Hybrid working and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• SIPP knowledge and administration experience.
• Good understanding of pension rules, drawdown and investments.
• Strong numerical, organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Confident working with clients and Financial Advisers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day administration of SIPPs.
• Process PCLS, drawdown and regular/ad-hoc retirement payments.
• Complete retirement, bereavement and pension divorce calculations.
• Arrange investment withdrawals and process income tax via HMRC systems.
• Process death and beneficiary payments.
• Liaise with clients, Advisers and investment providers.
• Track cases through to completion and work within agreed SLAs.
• Support wider SIPP/SSAS administration when required.
• Maintain high standards of quality, compliance and risk management.
