Simulator Operator & Commissioning Engineer

Location: Bristol (Long Ashton) on-site with some travel

ARCA Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a cutting-edge engineering company developing state-of-the-art driving simulators for high-performance automotive and motorsport applications. With a growing global customer base, they are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a Simulator Operator & Commissioning Engineer.

This is a hands-on technical role with a strong focus on simulator operation, customer system commissioning, and the integration of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain in-house simulator systems used for demonstrations and development
• Plan and carry out commissioning activities for customer simulator installations
• Support customers in optimising their simulator use and performance
• Investigate and test emerging technologies for integration into simulation platforms
• Develop simulation scenarios to demonstrate the full potential of the systems

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities
• Familiarity with computer systems and networks is desirable
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is beneficial
• Prior exposure to vehicle dynamics or driving simulators is advantageous
