Job summary

Boeing Training Solutions at Gatwick Campus in the UK is offering an embedded engineering internship with the Simulator Engineering team. You will work on developing aircraft simulation software models, troubleshooting FSTD issues, and performing hardware and software updates.

The role involves verification/validation of simulator software changes and supporting qualification and regulatory activities, with collaboration across Boeing engineers, instructors, pilots and regulators.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship.
• Pursuing an Engineering or Software degree.
• Experience with C/C++ programming.
• Experience with aerospace engineering or avionics.
• Interest in simulation and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop aircraft simulation software models and troubleshoot FSTD issues.
• Perform verification and validation of simulator software changes.
• Assist with hardware and software updates on FSTDs.
• Support qualification and regulatory activities for simulators.
• Collaborate with Boeing engineering teams, FSTD suppliers, instructors, pilots, customers and regulators.
