Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking a Software Engineer–Simulation to join our growing Engineering Capability in the UK. You will contribute to the development of synthetic environment subsystems, mission systems, and related simulation tools across air, land, and maritime domains.

The role involves working on simulation programmes with potential to broaden interests within the software engineering portfolio, in a fast-paced yet collaborative environment that values safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Proficiency to obtain UK security clearance.
• Proficiency in C++, Lua scripting or similar languages.
• Familiarity with physics-based modelling and simulation system engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualizations, and virtual environments to enhance test performance and reliability across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to review simulation requirements and system dynamics.
• Designs, models, simulates, tests, and analyzes to optimize overall system performance and capabilities.
