Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Simulation and Network Engineer to join the Command and Staff Trainer (CAST) team in Warminster. You will configure ABACUS for exercises, provide MOD data, and integrate systems to meet training requirements.

You will train military users, support CAST activities at UK sites, and assist with CIS networks and VBS3 simulations, liaising with the customer to build scenarios and ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Cisco routing, switching and VOIP experience.
• Windows Server administration proficiency.
• Fibre/Copper LAN installation knowledge.
• Familiarity with DII/DIS/HLA concepts.
• Experience with VBS3 and terrain generation.

Responsibilities

• Configure ABACUS software for exercises.
• Provide ABACUS data to the MOD during training.
• Integrate systems to match training requirements.
• Train military users to operate CAST systems.
• Provide CAST site and IT operations support as needed.
• Support CIS exercises remotely at Warminster and other locations.
• Liaise with military customers to build suitable scenarios.
