Job summary

Raytheon UK invites applications for a hands-on Graduate Technical Support & Sustainment Engineer in Malvern. You will support deployed IT systems across defense and national security environments, handling build, testing, deployment, sustainment and upgrades.

You will travel to sites in the UK and overseas as needed. The role offers exposure to Microsoft, Linux, Active Directory, networking, storage and virtualization, with strong emphasis on practical problem solving and customer support.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant IT field.
• Willing and able to travel within the UK and overseas.
• Must be able to obtain UK security clearance (SC minimum).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and sustainment for deployed IT systems.
• Assist build, installation, and configuration of complex systems.
• Plan and conduct testing of upgrades and new releases.
• Deliver office-based support by phone and email with occasional out-of-hours.
• Travel to customer sites within the UK and abroad.
• Work across Microsoft, Linux, Active Directory, networking and virtualization.
• Maintain local replicas for troubleshooting and testing.
• Demonstrate systems to customers and contribute to continuous improvement.
