Job summary

The Graphcore Internship Programme offers a 12-week summer internship in the UK, giving hands-on experience on real AI silicon projects. You’ll work in one of four Silicon teams—RTL design, verification, physical design or DFT—learning from experienced engineers and using industry-standard EDA tools.

You’ll gain practical skills and contribute to chip development while exploring your interests and building confidence.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related subject such as Physics or Maths.
• Technical skills in C, C++ or Python, demonstrated through study, projects, hobbies or practical experience
• Interest in AI compute and silicon design, incl. ASICs, verification, DFT or physical design, with motivation to learn EDA tools
• Curious, self-starting approach with examples from activities beyond studies and clear communication

Responsibilities

• Join one of four Silicon teams and contribute to real chip development.
• Learn RTL design, verification, timing, physical design or DFT under supervision.
• Use industry-standard EDA tools and own clear tasks with guidance from engineers
• Participate in reviews and build practical silicon engineering skills over 12 weeks
