Job summary

Evergreen Sign Company is seeking a detail-oriented Sign Drafter to transform design concepts into precise technical drawings that guide fabrication and installation of signage.

You will create submittal and shop drawings, collaborate with designers and fabricators, revise drawings as scope changes, and ensure compliance with building codes and ADA standards. Proficiency with CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator is required, with 2+ years in signage drafting or related environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Sign drafting or related fabrication environments.
• Proficiency with CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design software.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed submittal and shop drawings for custom signage, including dimensional layouts, fabrication specs, and installation guides.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure drawings meet project requirements and production capabilities.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and scope/material changes.
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for each project.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, ADA standards, and permitting requirements.
• Assist in developing templates and standards to improve drafting efficiency.
