Jones n Co Cast Metal Designs Ltd. is seeking a versatile Workshop Assistant to bridge our online shop platforms (Etsy and website) with the busy workshop floor. You will help with digital mock-ups, hand-typesetting, assembly, and dispatch, while ensuring quality and timely customer updates.

The role combines front-end customer interactions with hands-on production tasks in a craft workshop in the West Midlands. Previous experience with patterns and precise lettering is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with online shops (Etsy) and order workflows.
• Strong attention to spacing and accurate typesetting.
• Hands-on craft skills for patterns and assembly.
• Clear written communication with customers.
• Reliable with time management across computer and workshop tasks.

Responsibilities

• Front-End & Customer Operations: manage Etsy and website queries.
• Create and send digital mock-ups/proofs for client approval.
• Provide accurate production and dispatch progress updates to customers.
• Back-End Production: prepare sign patterns for production.
• Hand-typeset letters onto patterns according to approved designs.
• Assemble, pack, and dispatch orders with care.
