Job summary

Leverton Rose in Loughborough is seeking an experienced Sign Maker with a potential move into management. You will join a small team and may start at supervisory level with a path to lead within 6–12 months.

You should bring at least 2 years of signage industry experience, strong knowledge of wide format printers, vinyl plotters, laminators and a proven ability to manage production workflows.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' signs industry experience across a wide range of signage.
• Excellent knowledge of wide format full-colour printers, standard vinyl plotters and laminators.
• Proficient in the application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles.
• Managed production workflow.
• Computer literate with design and production software including Adobe Illustrator, Flexisign Signlab and Omega.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with client surveys, capturing relevant information required for quotations.
• Calculation of all the human and material resources required for an order.
• Preparation of visuals and artwork when required for customer approvals.
• Management, including records of production equipment and vehicles.
• Full and clean driving licence preferred.
• The ability to interpret signage briefs accurately and a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques.
• Complete paperwork to a high standard, ready for invoicing.
• Understanding of health and safety best practise.
• Full time position but flexible to work outside of normal hours when required.
