Job summary

Prospex Recruitment is seeking a Sign Maker/Fitter to join a Manchester-based team. The role involves vinyl application, large format print work, and backing up fascia fabrication with LEDs and assembly tasks.

Ideal candidates will have experience with acrylic, vinyl, fascia, LED signage and be comfortable operating large format printers such as Roland and Mimaki. A strong work ethic and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within signage and large format print production.
• Competent with vinyl production and print finishing.
• Able to interpret briefs and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Apply vinyl and large format prints to substrates.
• Backup and assist with sign fabrication and installation.
• Operate large format printers and perform quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to brief specifications.

Sign Maker/Fitter - All Rounder

Role: Our client are looking for a talented Sign Maker/Fitter to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to build a successful career with a growing and progressive company.

As a skilled Sign Maker, you will be responsible for vinyl and large format print application, backing up fret-cut aluminium fascia's, extrusion fabrication, acrylic fabrication, populating and wiring LEDs and general assembly duties. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and will need to have good physical strength and stamina, a strong work ethic, and be willing to assist other team members whenever necessary.

• Experience within various types of signage i.e. acrylic, vinyl, fascia's, LED's etc.
• Operating Large Format Printers such as Roland, Mimaki
• Print Finishing - Cutting, Weeding, Mounting Vinyl
• Sign Fitting - Fitting Vinyl Grpahics. Window and wall graphics.
• Sign fabrication
• Machine operating
• Quality checking
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Interpreting briefs and drawings accurately

Requirements

• Experience within signage and large format print production
• Previous experience manufacturing
