Job summary

Signs Express (Oxford) is a local family business delivering high-quality signage solutions for vehicles, walls and premises. The role involves hands-on sign making, vinyl application and site installations across a variety of substrates.

You will work with a range of tools and exhibit strong communication, reliability and safety awareness to meet client briefs and schedules. A driver’s licence and team-friendly attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience making and installing signage including vehicle graphics.
• Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators.
• Clean driving licence.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable with good time-keeping and strong work ethic.
• Communicates well, flexible, enthusiastic and well organised.
• Strong awareness of health & safety.
• Vehicle wrapping experience and IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sign making and installation across ACM, acrylics, metals, vinyl and foamex to a high standard.
• Apply vinyl to vehicles, walls, windows, panels and fascia.
• Install internal and external signage using power tools and access equipment.
• Ensure installations are completed on time and to budget and to high standards.
• Interpret briefs accurately with knowledge of different signage techniques.
• Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators.
• Occasionally conduct site surveys.
• Follow company procedures and guidelines to ensure signs are fitted safely and securely.
• Take responsibility for health and safety of yourself and others.
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients at all times.

• Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including ACM, acrylics, metals, vinyl and foamex, to a consistently high standard.
• Application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles, walls, window graphics, panels and fascia's.
• Installing all types of internal and external signage using power tools and various access equipment.
• Ensuring all installations are completed on time, to budget and to our usual high standards.
• Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques.
• Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators.
• Occasionally conducting site surveys.
• Following all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are fitted safely and securely.
• Taking responsibility for your own and others' health and safety when working.
• Providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others at all times.
