Job summary

Signs Express in Didcot, Oxfordshire, is hiring an experienced signage installer. You will apply graphics, install substrates and vehicles, cut and laminate vinyl, and interpret briefs with a focus on safety.

The role is permanent, full-time, Monday–Friday 08:00–16:30, with on-site parking and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience making and installing signage.
• Experience with plotters, large format printers and laminators.
• Full driving licence and reliable timekeeping.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Applying graphics to substrates including windows, panels, fascias, digital walls and vehicles.
• Carrying out installations using power tools and access equipment.
• Interpreting briefs with a strong signage manufacturing understanding.
• Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl.

Job description

Duties will include:

• Applying graphics to a variety of substrates, including window graphics, panels, fascias digital wall coverings and vehicles.


• Carrying out installations using power tools and access equipment


• Interpreting briefs accurately with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques


• Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl

About you:

• A minimum of 3 years plus experience making and installing a wide range of signage.


• Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators


• Driving licence


• Reliable, good time keeping and strong work ethic


• Sense of humour, professional, flexible, enthusiastic, be a good communicator, well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of a team


• A strong understanding of the importance of health & safety

This is a permanent, full time position working Monday-Friday 08.00 – 4.30pm based in Didcot Oxfordshire. Part time may be considered (salary pro rata)

Salary From £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
