Job summary

Signs Express (Abingdon & Didcot) is seeking an experienced Sign Maker & Installer to join our friendly production team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. You will apply graphics to a variety of substrates and carry out installations, ensuring high-quality finishes.

With a minimum of 3 years’ experience, a clean driving licence and reliable work ethic, you will work Monday–Friday 08:00–16:30 in a permanent role. On-site parking and a company pension after 3 months support your long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience making and installing a wide range of signage.
• Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators.
• Driving licence is required.
• Reliable with good time-keeping and strong work ethic.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Good understanding of health & safety is essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply graphics to substrates such as windows, panels, fascias, digital wall coverings and vehicles.
• Carry out signage installations using power tools and access equipment.
• Interpret briefs accurately with solid understanding of signage/manufacturing techniques.
• Print, cut and laminate vinyl to ensure high-quality finishes.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly dynamic team at Signs Express (Abingdon & Didcot) as an experienced Sign Maker & Installer.

As a key member of the production department, you will thrive with the diversity of work our centre handles every day, giving you an ideal opportunity to develop new skills, make a difference and grow with the business.

Duties will include:

Applying graphics to a variety of substrates, including window graphics, panels, fascias digital wall coverings and vehicles.

Carrying out installations using power tools and access equipment

Interpreting briefs accurately with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques

Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl

About you:

A minimum of 3 years plus experience making and installing a wide range of signage.

Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators

Driving licence

Reliable, good time keeping and strong work ethic

Sense of humour, professional, flexible, enthusiastic, be a good communicator, well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of a team

A strong understanding of the importance of health & safety

This is a permanent, full time position working Monday-Friday 08.00 – 4.30pm based in Didcot Oxfordshire. Part time may be considered (salary pro rata)

Salary From £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
